Working with a small majority

Keep your eyes on this one. We know that Cameron’s treading a fine line with the EU referendum and his backbenchers, which hinge largely on what conclusions he can get from his Europe-wide negotiations, but this grouping (Faction) is an ideal example when considering the whole issue of political party utility, executive leadership and the power of parliament. Nothing has come of this thus far, but the very public existence of these MPs is a reminder to Cameron and all of just how slim his majority is and how controversial the whole issue of EU membership remains for many of his own party.
