Lib Dems in the Coalition–gkKwqOshgb

A simple article outlining laws that the Lib Dems prevented the Tories from passing during the 2010-2015 Coalition Government. Useful to show the impact that the Lib Dems had in shaping Coalition policy, and to show what the party policies of the Lib Dems were. Also useful in demonstrating that, while this was unusual in being a Coalition and there were disagreements between the two parties, FPTP nonetheless delivered a ‘strong and stable’ government – this means that despite these disagreements, at no point did it seem like there was going to be another election or that the Coalition was going to fall apart. You could use this to illustrate the advantages of FPTP.
