Revolving Door Appointments in the Obama Administration

One of the first executive orders that Obama passed was about transparency in government – ensuring that those in positions of importance within an administration could not abuse their power to gain jobs later on. However, as we look to the end of the Obama presidency, the issue of lobbying and PACs continues to rumble on, aided by a number of Supreme Court rulings (Citizens United/McCutcheon).
