The Republican Presidential Race for 2016 is wide open at the moment, with a total of 29 potential candidates being listed on Wikipedia. However, this was an interesting story as Lindsay Graham is a rather contrversial Republican due to his voting record, and tendency to vote with the Democrats on certain issues, including being one of vey few Republicans who voted for Elena Kagan. This could be a useful example not only for elections and the lengthening of the invisible primary season, but also for the breadth within each of the main parties. Thinking about balancing the ticket, a Graham candidacy would certainly require a more right-wing VP candidate!
