UK Political Parties: Policy Positions Post-2010 General Election

22nd Nov – A useful guide into the differences and similarities of the main political parties and their policy positions in the 2010 parliament. Be warned: these are always subject to a process of change, so some of these positions/commitments may have altered due to events (e.g. post-2007 austerity economic climate and the Liberal Democrats altered position vis-a-vis  student tuition fees!).

This is really useful for the Party Policies & Ideas topic, in addition to being a huge source of evidence/examples for understanding & writing about issues like: party re-alignment, party de-alignment, voter apathy, catch-all parties, consensus politics in the UK etc…
