Medicare: Governors vs. Congress (Federalism?)

Medicare; Governors vs. Congress (Federalism?)

3 June 2013 – GOP governors’ endorsements of Medicaid expansion deepen rifts within party

With the advance of Medicare, this article is fascinating; some Republicans governors (Arizona, Ohio, Michigan) are in favour of Medicare and the money that federal government is promising to spend in their states, but the Congressmen from the same states are opponents of Medicare! Great evidence of divisions within a single party as well as useful as an example of the impact of federalism (or not) in the USA and for any question on Medicare.
