With your new Chief Examiner well and truly in post, the importance of immigration in our syllabus could not be more important. As the ‘Gang of 8’ (a phrase you should know, or get to know if you don’t!) try to broker a deal over the Senate Immigration Bill, this issue is a hot topic right now, especially with projections that the Hispanic vote could make up 30% of the vote by 2030. This article discusses the current Bill before the Senate and shows why controversy if rife over this issue. It is also good for showing the inner workings of Congress.
