26 April 2013 – “UK shale gas bonanza ‘not assured'”

Parliamentary Select Committees have many functions, one of which is to conduct investigations. This is a great example of the Energy and Climate Committee conducting research into the UK’s shale gas reserves and publishing a report on this. This was headline news on both Radio 4 and the BBC news website showing the significance these reports can have – think about government scrutiny; do you think the government can therefore just ignore these reports?
